The Swan Nebula is also known as the Omega Nebula. This is by far my favorite of all nebulae in the sky. |

M17 is a large, very bright, nebula with a large 9' by 9' bright open cluster of stars containing about 40 members. The nebula measures 75 light years across and is 5900 light years distant.
